Assistant Professor Dr. Chalermchai Pilapong, Ph.D Center of Excellence for Molecular Imaging and AMS Cancer Research Unit, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Chalermchai Pilapong received his PhD degree in Chemistry from Chiang Mai University in 2012. Currently, Dr. Chalermchai Pilapong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiologic Technology, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University. His research interests focus on development of new potential nanobio-technology, nanomedicine and molecular imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases including cancers.

Research Interests

1. Develop various highly-sensitive Molecular probe which can be utilized for non-invasively imaging biological processes, cell tracking, early diagnosis, and monitoring of therapeutic efficacy.

2. Develop new therapeutic systems based on nano-hybrid /biomolecules.

3. Develop multifunctional theranostic agents that not only carry and deliver natural therapeutics agent or chemotherapeutics but also provide real-time imaging of therapy response in vivo.
